Light of HOPE Learning Center is a place of HOPE for children and their families.
Dr. Larry Daugherty and Mrs. Laura Johnson are a father/daughter team and co-owners of Light of HOPE. Laura’s daughter, Mary Charles, was diagnosed with ASD in 2017. As an educator, Laura’s number one concern was finding resources to help her daughter. ABA therapy was not available in their community, so they traveled 90 miles twice a week to receive services. The results were amazing, but the travel became too much on Mary Charles. Laura and Larry decided to open their own ABA clinic in order to serve children like Mary Charles in the community. Light of HOPE opened its doors in May of 2020 and continues to serve the WHOLE child by offering more than just one therapy in isolation.
Your needs and your child's needs are our top priority. We work closely with parents and our community to provide high-quality therapy and education, while empowering and training our staff to be the best therapists around. It takes a team to be successful, and we look forward to working closely with you!
We are fully aware that children meet goals more quickly when there is a team of therapists working toward a common goal. Light of HOPE allows children to work with a team of therapists that focus on common goals and thus provide the support each child needs to be more successful.
Be the first to hear about special events and how YOU can contribute to autism awareness.
